Andrea Ropes è un performer e Maestro di Shibari a livello internazionale.
Nato a Modena, in Italia, inizia il suo percorso con le corde nel 2006, inciampando in una foto e rimanendone da subito affascinato.
Successivamente ha iniziato i suoi studi di questa forma d’arte apprendendone le varie tecniche e gli stili che lo caratterizzano, inizialmente come autodidatta, in seguito andando a lezione da grandi maestri come Kanna Nawashi (che considera suo principale maestro e ispiratore) Haruki Yukimura, Hajime Kinoko, Bob Ropemarks, Otonawa, Bingo Shigonawa, ecc. Andrea Ropes is a performer and an international shibari teacher.
Born in Modena, Italy, he began his journey on the ropes in 2006, stumbling over a photo and remaining fascinated immediately.
Subsequently, he began his studies of this art form learning various techniques and styles that characterize it, initially as a self-taught, later to class with great masters such as KannaNawashi (who he considers his main teacher and inspiration) Haruki Yukimura Hajime Kinoko, Bob Ropemarks, Otonawa, Bingo Shigonawa, etc.
